Resumen: 

The physical world provides lots of ways to reveal the secrets of mathematics through illustration, this also creates bridges where mathematical concepts can be used to create interesting art and structures. In particular modern tools, especially for digital manufacturing, provide ways to bring mathematics into the world in creative and illuminating ways. In this talk I will discuss my work creating mathematical illustrations, models of algebraic surfaces and sculptures and toys informed by mathematical ideas.
